Marshall Street has some of the tastiest food options in Syracuse with a unique selection to choose from. There are many restaurants to choose from such as Acropolis Pizza, Bleu Monkey, and a campus favorite: Insomnia Cookies. These food spots are great to eat at in between classes with some friends or just to grab a quick bite after a long day of work or class because of how close in proximity they are to campus. They are also open pretty late which is pretty convinient as well.
Have you tried Acropolis Pizza? It has so many delicious selctions to choose from such as the best pizza in town, sandwiches, subs, wings, wraps, salads, pitas, and much more. Acropolis offers dine-in, take out and delivery. The restaurant was founded in the 70s in New Orleans and has been serving the Syracuse community since 1982. Acropolis is actually planning on closing down and will be replaced by a popeyes this summer. I really enjoyed eating at Acropolis while it was here and I reccomend that you hurry and try it as well before it closes for good!
Bleu Monkey is such a great restaurant especially if you want to sit down and enjoy a meal with some friends or family. My favorite meal to get is the array of sushi they offer as well as their noodle bowls. Their restaurant has been quite busy on the weekends but is a very nice outing overall. You can also order take-out meals to go. The service offered at Bleu monkey is stellar and the staff members are friendly and great to hold a conversation with.
Insomnia Cookies is my absolute favorite restaurant on Marshall Street. Treat yourself to some warm and delicious cookies after your meals at Acropolis and Bleu Monkey. There are so many cookie options to choose from that I have such a hard time selecting what I want because I really would want to order everything on the menu! You can also order ice cream here at Insominia and pair it with your favorite cookies as well. If you havent tried Insomnia Cookies you are certainly missing out!
